Nizhny Novgorod Minibus Accident Leaves 17 Injured
According to updated information from the regional Ministry of Health, a fatal minibus accident in Nizhny Novgorod has resulted in 17 people being injured, with five of them in serious condition.
Earlier Reports Indicated Three Deaths in Minibus Accident
Prior to the updated data, the Ministry of Health in Nizhny Novgorod had reported that a Gazelle minibus accident had caused 16 injuries and three fatalities.
Accident Details and Medical Care Provided
The accident occurred near the village of Shiloksha in the Kastovsky district, when a Gazelle minibus collided with a truck on the M-7 highway around 9.40 on Sunday. Preliminary investigations suggest that the truck entered the opposite lane, causing the collision.
The updated information states that three individuals lost their lives in the accident, while nine of the injured were taken to the regional clinical hospital. Of the nine, five are in serious condition and four are in moderate condition. The remaining eight individuals are also in serious condition.

The Ministry of Health of the Nizhny Novgorod region has assured that all necessary medical care has been provided to the victims, including a child, and that the child has been discharged for outpatient treatment.
