Bus Crash in Pakistan Leaves 18 Dead and 16 Injured
On Sunday, a tragic bus accident occurred in the eastern state of Punjab in Pakistan, resulting in the death of at least 18 people and injuring 16 others. The incident took place when the bus, carrying 33 passengers from Karachi to Islamabad, collided with another vehicle during the early hours of the morning.
The Collision and Fire
According to Fahad Ahmed, the police chief of Hafizabad district in Punjab, the bus collided with a pickup truck that was carrying three small petrol tanks. The impact caused both vehicles to catch fire immediately, leading to the death of 18 individuals, including the pickup truck driver.
Injured Individuals
The accident resulted in 16 individuals sustaining severe injuries, who were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.
