Moscow, February 26 – A Tottenham fan has been arrested for using homophobic chants during a match against Chelsea in the 25th round of the English Football Championship, according to Tottenham’s Twitter page.
And on Sunday, Tottenham beat Chelsea 2-0 in the Premier League for the first time since November 2018. After the match, some fans complained on Twitter about a Tottenham fan who chanted homophobic language during the match. One user called it a “hate crime”.
After this post, some Tottenham subscribers began to express their disagreement with the decision to arrest the fan. “How do you catch the words?” one user asked.
