A South Korean company is laying the foundation stone for a huge factory in Kuwait.

South Korean company Taihan Cables and Solutions announced on Monday that it will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for its Taihan Kuwait fiber optic cable plant in Kuwait.

And “Tayhan Kuwait” is the first fiber optic cable company in Kuwait, it was established through the joint investment of “Tayhan Cables and Solutions” and the local construction and trading company “Rank”.

The plant will be built on an area of ​​5,000 square meters in the industrial area of ​​Mina Abdullah, southeast of the capital of Kuwait. The plant is expected to be completed in the second half of this year.

In 2021, Tayhan Cables & Solutions established Taihan – Kuwait in line with the expected growth in information and communication demand in the Middle East region.

Taihan Cables & Solutions plans to take over the fiber optic cable market in Kuwait and effectively respond to the increase in demand. The company also plans to enter other neighboring markets.

After the groundbreaking ceremony, Kim Sung Kyu and other Hoban Group managers will travel to Saudi Arabia to attend the IKTVA 2023 forum hosted by Saudi Aramco.

They will discuss ways to expand investment and business with the Mohammed Al Ojaimi group. Taihan Cables & Solutions has entered into a joint venture with Mohammed Al-Ojaimi in Saudi Arabia.
