Moscow, February 18 – Guillermo Abascal, head coach of Spartak, said that the Spartak player, who missed most of the season this season due to injury, is already working with the team, and progress is being made in his recovery.
Musa was out of action in August 2022 after suffering an Achilles tendon rupture in the Russian Premier League (RPL) 4th round match against Ural (2-0). Due to this injury, the 32-year-old Nigerian missed the entire fall portion of the season. Also in the team’s infirmary is midfielder Neil Umyarov, who dropped out due to a fracture in October. According to Abascal, Umyarov is already training on the field according to an individual programme.
