Paris Saint-Germain will attempt to sign Chelsea playmaker Hakim Ziyech next summer, after failing to sign the Moroccan player for Mercato last winter, according to media reports.

The Paris side tried to include Ziyash in the Mercato last winter, but the deal fell through in the last moments due to Chelsea’s delay in sending the correct paperwork.

French network Le Sport 10 reported on Saturday that Ziyas is still on the interest list of Saint Germain officials, especially since the Moroccan player is no longer “desirable” at Chelsea after the team made big deals during the last winter transition period.

For its part, the English newspaper The Daily Telegraph reported that Paris Saint-Germain plans to return next summer to complete Ziyash’s contract.

ESPN also expected the Chelsea administration to have no objection to Ziyash’s departure in the upcoming summer transfer period.
