Al-Hilal Club Considers Signing Lionel Messi or Kylian Mbappe as Neymar’s Replacement: Reports
The Al-Hilal Club Seeks to Replace Neymar with World-Class Players
The management of the Al-Hilal club is looking to sign a new star player to replace Neymar, who has sustained a torn cruciate ligament and will be out of action for an extended period of time. According to the Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadh, the club is considering two top international players, Lionel Messi from Argentina and Kylian Mbappe from France.
Resuming Negotiations with Lionel Messi
Al-Riyadh reports that Al-Hilal’s management plans to resume negotiations with Messi, also known as the “flea,” and present a new offer to him. They are willing to discuss different options, including a possible loan agreement with his current American club, Inter Miami.
Potential Interest in Kylian Mbappe
Additionally, Al-Hilal is considering the possibility of signing French superstar Kylian Mbappe. The club is actively competing in various local and continental competitions, such as the AFC Champions League Cup, Saudi Rochen League, Guardians Cup of the Two Holy Mosques, and the Saudi Arabian Super Cup.
Past Transfer Attempts
In the previous summer transfer window, Al Hilal made unsuccessful attempts to sign both Messi and Mbappe. Ultimately, Messi chose to join Inter Miami and Mbappe decided to continue his career at Paris Saint-Germain before Neymar became their target.
