Algerian Football Federation Elects Walid Sadi as New President
On Thursday, the General Assembly of the Algerian Football Federation announced the appointment of Walid Sadi as the new president, succeeding Jahid Zwezif who stepped down from his position.
Sadi emerged as the sole candidate for the presidency after the nomination committee dismissed the applications of Abdel Karim Medawar and Mezian Egil.

Sadi will serve as the president of the Algerian federation for the remaining 18 months of Zvezde’s term. Zvezde had resigned in July of the previous year following his defeat in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) executive body elections.
