Algiers Capital Union clinches maiden continental title in Confederation Cup history

The USMA capitalized on its 2-1 win in Tanzania, to the delight of the tens of thousands of its supporters who gathered at 5th of July Stadium.

USMA became the first Algerian team to win the championship in its modern form, which was launched in 2004.
