Barnaul Governor’s Prizes in Theatrical Art Presented

The prestigious Governor’s Prizes in the field of theatrical art, named after Valery Zolotukhin, were awarded in the Altai Territory, according to a report by the Ministry of Culture of the region.

The Governor’s Prize named after Valery Zolotukhin for theatrical art was presented in the Altai Territory. The Minister of Culture of the Altai Territory, Elena Bezrukova, honored the young artists with these well-deserved awards.

The Valery Zolotukhin Prize in the field of theatrical art for 2023 was awarded based on the decision of the Competition Committee. The following individuals were recognized:

  • Ksenia Elena, Artist-vocalist of the Altai State Musical Theater
  • Olga Zhuchkova, Artist of the Altai Children’s and Youth Theater
  • Ekaterina Palina (Burseva), Artist of the Altai Regional Drama Theater named after VM Shukshin
  • Kirill Gruzdev, Artist (puppeteer) of the Altai Puppet Theater “Fairy Tale”

In addition, students of the Altai Institute of Culture, namely Nikolai Bobrovsky, Mikhail Volkov, and Ivan Mikitenko, also received this prestigious award.

Valery Zolotukhin Theater Festival

The award ceremony took place during the Valery Zolotukhin Theater Festival. Over the course of a week, audiences enjoyed performances by 12 creative groups from various cities, including Barnaul, Kemerovo, Kirov, Lesva, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Tagil, Nyagan, Prokopyevsk, and Chelyabinsk, all of which were part of the competition program.
