Kevin Lee, a 30-year-old former UFC mixed martial artist, converted to Islam in 2021 and only recently revealed it.
Fighter Lee, who currently plays for Russian champion Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Orel Club, expressed his joy at his conversion to Islam and explained the reasons for it in an interview published Tuesday on the ESPN sports network.
He spoke about his recent disappearance from the limelight, what happened to his life after having a child, choosing a new business agent and began to explain why he chose the religion of Islam.
He said: “I converted to Islam, I converted to Islam, I really accepted my place in life as a Muslim, and since I have always been alone, Islam kind of brought me into brotherhood (with Muslims).”

Just to clarify, because I see questions, I officially converted to Islam in my lifetime in October 2021, just didn’t appear in public until recently. I want to start a podcast soon so I can talk more about it
