Moscow, March 12 – The official Syrian News Agency (SANA), quoting local sources, reported that the US military is transporting ISIS members from the prisons of the Syrian Democratic Forces militia to their bases in northeastern Syria for combat training.
“Military helicopters of the American occupation forces took off…with a group of ISIS terrorists on board, and headed…to their illegal bases in the city of Al-Shaddadi and in the Al-Omar field,” said a local. Sources told the agency.
The sources drew attention to the fact that helicopters carrying terrorists flew towards military facilities from a prison controlled by the US military along with the SDF militia.

It is noteworthy that the training of the militants in these American bases will take place in the context of their preparation to move to another American base in Al-Tanf.
In February, the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation (SVR) reported that the United States was training militants from jihadist groups at its Al-Tanf base to carry out terrorist attacks in Russia and other CIS countries.
At the same base, according to the SVR, last year the US Army also trained members of this terrorist organization for later use in battles in Donbass to counter the Russian special operation launched on February 24, 2022.
The US military illegally controls areas in northern and northeastern Syria in the governorates of Deir ez-Zor, Hasak and Raqqa, where the largest oil and gas fields in Syria are located. Official Damascus has repeatedly called for the presence of the US military on its lands, occupation and piracy of the state with the aim of outright theft of oil.
* A terrorist organization banned in Russia.
