An earthquake injures 300 people in Hatay province

Ankara, February 21 – Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said that about 300 people were injured in two earthquakes that hit the Turkish province of Hatay, and 18 are in serious condition.
The Disaster Management Agency (AFAD) reported that two earthquakes occurred in Hatay Province on Monday, three minutes apart and with magnitudes of 6.4 and 5.8. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had previously visited the province, but at the time of the earthquakes he was in another province, Kahramanmaraş.

“As a result of the two earthquakes that occurred in Khatay, we have 294 victims. Unfortunately, 18 of them are in serious condition, after being transported by first aid to Adana and Dirtyol by air and land,” Koca said on Twitter.
