Anti-Submarine Missile Ship of the Baltic Fleet Returns After Repairs
The Russian plant “Yantar” announced the completion of the maintenance of one of the most famous warships of the Russian Baltic Fleet.
A source at the plant told the TASS news agency that “repair of the warship Yaroslav the Wise of the Russian Baltic Fleet has been completed.”
The source added: “After the completion of the maintenance work, the ship was successfully launched in the floating dock of one of the shipyards of our plant, and the ship will be sent to the customer in the near future.”
The aforementioned ship is considered the second anti-submarine warship developed by the Russian Yantar plant under state project No. 11540. This ship is armed with 533-mm torpedoes, RBU-6000 anti-ship and anti-ship missiles. submarine missiles, two Russian Uran missile launchers and 4 Air Force Kindzhal air defense systems, two Kortik missile systems, 100-mm cannons and a KA-27 helicopter for detecting and destroying submarines.
