Apple begins hiring vendors in India in preparation for reopening its stores
Apple has announced that it will begin hiring workers for retail stores in India in preparation for the opening of its first major stores in the country.
Apple has begun recruiting for retail stores in India and has posted plans to fill several vacancies as it prepares to open its first flagship stores in the world’s second-largest smartphone market earlier this quarter, according to the Financial Times.
Earlier, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources, that Apple has accelerated plans to withdraw some of its production from China and is asking suppliers to actively plan to assemble their products in other Asian countries, especially in India and Vietnam.
