Moscow, April 17 – The Bureau of the International Football Association Board (FIFA) has approved Argentina as the venue for the 2023 World Youth Championship (among players under the age of 20), according to the organization’s website.
At the end of March, FIFA stripped Indonesia of the right to host the tournament. Before that, he urged the governor of Bali, Faian Koster, not to allow the Israeli national team to compete. There are no official diplomatic relations between the two countries, and they find no common ground on the Palestinian issue. In April, FIFA temporarily froze its funding to the Indonesian Football Association.

The World Youth Championship will be held from May 20 to June 11, 2023. Having received the right to organize the tournament, the Argentine national team will become a participant in the tournament instead of the Indonesian national team.
