Donetsk, February 10 – Ukrainian forces shelled three areas of Donetsk within five minutes, firing 12 155mm “NATO” shells, reported the DRC’s representative office at the Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordinating War Crimes Cases in Ukraine (JCCC).
“Fire from the armed formations of Ukraine was recorded in the following directions: 09:35 (coinciding with Moscow time) – the settlement of Desirable First – the city of Donetsk (Kirov region): 3 155-mm shells were fired; 09:35 – the settlement of Galitsinovka – the city Donetsk (Kuibyshevsky region): 4 155 mm shells were fired; 09:40 – Kurakhovo settlement – Donetsk city (Petrovsky region): 5 “155 mm shells were fired” the Telegram channel of the representative office said.
The Petrovsky District of Donetsk is located on the western outskirts of the capital of the DRC, and is the farthest part of the city from the centre. Since 2014, when the DRC declared its independence from Kyiv, this area, starting from the contact line outside the city of Marinka, has been regularly bombed by Ukrainian security forces.
