Arsenal to Discontinue Sale of Jersey Next Season Following Critical Error
Arsenal, who finished second in the English Premier League in the 2022-2023 season, have stopped selling shirts for the new season due to a fatal printing error.
British website Givemesport stated that next season’s 2023-24 jersey was designed to honor the team that won the Premier League title in the 2003-04 season without a single defeat on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of that exceptional title. .
Arsenal won the title in this competition after playing 38 games, winning 26 and losing 12 in a draw.
But Adidas, which specializes in sports equipment and clothing for Arsenal, made a fatal mistake by printing a new T-shirt.
And on the white border on the side of the jersey, the company printed only the results of just 32 weeks of that season instead of 38, which angered Gunners fans.

The UK website states that the company did not draw results with Birmingham City and Portsmouth, in addition to 4 other wins that season.
Before the mistake was discovered, the shirt, first shown last May, was sold to many Arsenal fans for more than £100 (€116).
Immediately, Arsenal sent an email to their supporters who bought the shirt informing them that they had become aware of the mistake.
The text of the message read: “We have learned that there is an error in the design of the original jersey for our new 2023-2024 season and therefore, unfortunately, we are unable to fulfill your request at this time.”
He added: “We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you and we will refund the full cost of the shirt. We are currently working on setting a release date for the new core jerseys and in the meantime the second shirt is up and running. Available for sale.”
The new season of the English Premier League is due to start on August 11, 2023 with defending champions Manchester City against Burnley.
As for Arsenal, it will cut the footage of the 2023-24 match against Nottingham Forest on the 12th of the same month.
