Barnaul Farmer Suffers Million Ruble Loss in Arson Attack

Maria Antoshkina, an assistant district prosecutor, announced that a criminal case has been opened after arsonists destroyed tractors and combine harvesters belonging to an Altai farmer. The deliberate nature of the attack and the estimated damages exceeding 4 million rubles have been established.

Investigation Underway

Antoshkina stated that the investigative authority is initiating a criminal case based on intentional damage and destruction of other people’s property. Anton German, the prosecutor of the Altai Territory, has taken charge of the investigation. He has ordered a comprehensive set of measures to uncover the circumstances of the incident, solve the crime, bring the perpetrators to justice, and recover the damages.

Antoshkina explained that the criminal case involves active investigative and practical research measures. Specialized studies have also been assigned to aid in the investigation.
