Astana progresses to the second round of UEFA Champions League qualifiers

Moscow, July 19 – Kazakhstan’s “Astana” qualified for the second preliminary round of the Football Champions League by defeating Tbilisi “Dynamo” in the first round.
The second match of the confrontation, which took place on Wednesday in the capital of Georgia, ended with a score of 2: 1 in favor of “Astana”. The winners were scored by Abzal Besbekov (50th minute) and Dembo Darbo (51st). The host, Ousmane Camara (22), scored.
The first match, held in Astana on July 12, ended in a 1:1 draw. Astana will compete with Dinamo Zagreb to reach the third preliminary round of the Champions League, while Dinamo Tbilisi will continue to play in the Conference League qualifiers.

The Slovenian Olimpija from Ljubljana continues to fight for the group stage of the Champions League, after beating the Latvian Valmiera on Wednesday with a score of 2: 1. The first match of the teams in the capital of Slovenia ended with the victory of Olympia with the same score. And in the second qualifying round, the Ljubljana team will play with the winner of the confrontation between Ludogorets (Bulgaria) and Balkany (Kosovo).
