Bayern Put an Early End to Saint-Germain’s Champions League Hopes
Bayern Munich knocked out their guest, Paris Saint-Germain, early from the Champions League by beating him with two unanswered goals on Wednesday in the second leg of the final price round.
The Bayern duet was scored by Cameroonian Eric Choupo-Moting and German Serge Gnabry in the 61st and 89th minutes.
Bayern also won the first leg in Paris with an unanswered goal and retained qualification to the quarter-finals with a 3-0 win over two legs.
The French capital team has been eliminated from the final price round for the second time in a row after losing to Real Madrid last season.
