Moscow, January 30 – Canadian striker Taylor Beck became the top scorer of Novosibirsk “Siberia” in one season in the history of the club’s performance in the Continental Hockey League (KHL), according to the team’s official Telegram channel.

On Monday, in a match against Khabarovsk “Amur”, Beck marked himself with an abandoned puck. He now has 51 points (15 goals and 36 assists) in 58 games of the current tournament. He also finished as the leading scorer for the season, defeating St. Petersburg forward Marat Khairullin (50 points; 25+25).

The previous Sibir record was held by Finn Yuri Lehteria, who scored 50 points in the 2013/14 season (12 + 38) in 48 regular season matches and 10 playoff matches.
Beck joined Sibir in the summer of 2022 from Dinamo Minsk. Earlier in the KHL he played for Metallurg Magnitogorsk, Avangard Omsk, Kunlun Red Star Beijing and Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg. In total, he has 346 league matches to his credit, in which he scored 260 points (87 + 173).
