Berlin commented on the situation with requests to transfer tanks to Kyiv

Berlin, January 20 – German government spokesman Steffen Hebbestreit said on Friday that the German cabinet has no information about requests for Leopard tanks to be re-exported from third countries to Ukraine.
When asked if such requests had been made, Heppechtreet replied: “I have no information on a formal request.”

Earlier, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, in an interview with Polsat TV, said that Poland could transfer Leopard tanks to Ukraine without waiting for Germany’s approval.
