Beyonce Will be Making a Visit in the Bay Area During her Upcoming World Tour
Bay Area Beyhive members can rejoice after Beyonce revealed her long-awaited Renaissance World Tour on Wednesday morning. On August 30, Queen B will stop at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, giving fans in Northern California a chance to see her live.
In August 2022, “Renaissance” made its Top 200 chart début at No. 1. A landmark for female singers, Beyonce’s seventh album was the first to top the charts. Since the album’s release, a world tour has been anticipated. Fans have also been eager to await the months-long-rumored visual album.
The August engagement will be Beyonce’s first Bay Area performance since she and her husband Jay-Z performed at Levi’s in 2018 as part of the On the Run II tour. In addition, the renowned (and in some quarters contentious) Super Bowl 50 halftime show took place at Levi’s Stadium, where Beyonce unveiled her smash “Formation,” the lead track from her renowned 2016 visual album “Lemonade.”

The only other announced California stop for the Renaissance tour is a performance at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on September 2. Other West Coast stops include Seattle (September 11), Vancouver, British Columbia (September 26), Las Vegas (September 11), and Glendale, Arizona (September 24). (September 13).
With the Beyonce announcement, 2023 is already looking like a special year for stadium shows in the Bay Area. Late in July, Taylor Swift will perform twice at Levi’s Stadium; in September, Ed Sheeran will make a stop; in May, the Blink-182 reunion tour will visit San Jose and Sacramento; and in October, Madonna will perform twice at Chase Center.
Although Beyonce’s concerts don’t have tickets, supporters are urged to sign up for the presale in advance. Since Citi sponsors the tour, fans with Citibank credit cards should find it simpler to purchase tickets. The Santa Clara show’s registration is open and will remain so through Thursday, February 9.
Despite its recent disaster with Taylor Swift’s tour, Ticketmaster still handles the ticketing process. Congress is presently looking into the ticketing website due to the appalling way it handled sales of The Eras Tour tickets, which included soaring pricing and processing errors.
