Biden on the Iran nuclear deal: Its dead, but we won’t announce it
Washington, December 20 – US President Joe Biden has admitted that the Iran nuclear deal is indeed dead, but he has refused to make it official.
Biden’s words appeared on a video of him communicating with people “on the sidelines” of the November 4 campaign rally in California.
“Its dead, but we’re not going to make it public. Long story,” said the president, who was allegedly addressing Iranian immigrants who told him not to “deal with the mullahs.”
About the video, which was published on Monday, the online news source Axios reported.
Officially, the US authorities continue to participate in negotiations aimed at returning the deal, which President Donald Trump rejected.
