Boston Makes NHL History with Fourth Team to Attain 60 Wins in a Season.

Moscow, April 3 – The Boston Bruins defeated the St. Louis Blues in a shootout in the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season.
The meeting in St. Louis ended with a score of 4: 3 (1: 0, 2: 1, 0: 2, 0: 0, 1: 0). Jake Debrusque (6th minute), Tyler Bertuzzi (28) and Oscar Stein (29) scored goals in regular time. The hosts scored Jordan Cairo (40 and 60) and Tore Krug (50). In overtime, Bruins Russian defender Dmitry Orlov was pucked offside. The victory of “Boston” in the penalty shootout was achieved by an accurate shot by Charlie Coyle.

Boston became the fourth team in NHL history to reach 60 wins in a single regular season. Previously, this achievement was added by Montreal (60 wins, 1976/77 season), Detroit (62, 1995/96) and Tampa Bay (62, 2018/19). The Canadiens were the only club to also win the Stanley Cup.
