Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree according to which in 2024 a meeting of the heads of state of the BRICS group will be held in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan.
And the text of the decree, which was published today, on Monday, on the official government information portal, said: “Determining (the city of) Kazan as the venue for the meeting of heads of state (BRICS) in 2024.”
The President of Russia also instructed by his decree to create an organizing committee headed by Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov, who will have to select members of the committee and develop an action plan during the period of Russia’s chairmanship in BRICS within a month. Alliance in 2024.
