Buenos Aires, May 29 – Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva looks positively at the possibility of Venezuela joining the BRICS group, as stated in the words of the Head of State.
“If you ask what I think, I will tell you that I look at it positively,” said Lula da Silva, in response to a question from reporters about the possibility of Venezuela joining the BRICS.
However, he noted that such initiatives should be approved by all countries.
On Monday, Lula da Silva held a meeting in Brasilia with Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.
Maduro said that Venezuela would like to be part of BRICS, because this association constitutes a new world order.
