Call for International Tribunal for Ukraine: The United States Takes the Lead

Washington, March 28 – Deputy Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Vedant Patil said that the United States supports the creation of an international tribunal for Ukraine, which will be guided in its work by Ukrainian legislation.
According to Patel, the United States believes that the court should have broad international support, especially from Europeans, and “it is better if it is in one of the countries of Europe.”

Russia has been conducting a special military operation in Ukraine since February 24, 2022. Russian President Vladimir Putin described his mission as “protecting people who have been bullied and genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years.” According to the president, the ultimate goal of the operation is the liberation of Donbass and the creation of conditions that guarantee Russia’s security.
