Central Russian Locals Discuss Weekend Weather Conditions

Moscow, May 13 – Roman Wilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center, told the News Agency that on weekends in central Russia the temperature will rise to 23 degrees, and on Sunday the temperature background will be in the range of 17-19 degrees, and no precipitation is expected.

According to him, such weather would be about 2 degrees above the climatic average for the northern regions of the Central Federal District and near the base for the Chernozem region.

The forecaster also said that the temperature in the Central Federal District on Sunday afternoon will drop slightly – to 17-19 degrees. He noted that it is not expected to rain during the weekend.

“In the south, the norms are still different, so the temperatures there are about a couple of degrees lower than the long-term values. This applies to Saturdays, Sundays and the following days. Krasnodar Territory, Stavropol Territory – the temperature there will be the same as in Moscow.
