China builds non-stop drone
Chinese scientists have announced that they have created a new engine for drones that will help them stay in the air for a very long time.
The South China Morning Post notes that scientists used high-energy laser beams in this new engine.
And she adds, experts at the Northwest China University of Applied Sciences have created a model that can convert solar energy into electricity, allowing drones to be charged in mid-air as they fly.
According to the publication, the inventors do not disclose the details of their innovation, so as not to use it for military purposes. But they emphasize that a drone equipped with this engine can fly at the height of skyscrapers. The test results confirmed its high efficiency.
It should be noted that scientists at the Russian Tyumen University in December 2021 announced the creation of a drone capable of being in flight for a long time due to the possibility of recharging from power lines.
