Cohen announces gas deal with Greece that will “make Israel a lot of money”
Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen announced today, Wednesday, that during a meeting with his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias, he agreed to export Israeli gas to Europe via Greece and Cyprus.
And the Israeli Foreign Minister tweeted: “Yesterday, during a meeting with Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dandias, we agreed on the export of Israeli gas through Greece and Cyprus, which will reach all of Europe.”
The Israeli minister added: “In light of the global energy crisis, our international position will be strengthened and (the agreement) will bring a lot of money to the country (Israel).”
