Colima’s Shallow Waters Pose Risks of Ship Accidents, Warns Ministry of Emergencies

Moscow, July 6 – The All-Russian Research Institute of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations (VNII GOChS) warns that lower water levels in the Kolyma River in the Magadan region may impede navigation this week in the Srednikan-Korkodon section, and accidents with ships of all types are likely.

It is noted that this circumstance increases the possibility of accidents with ships of various types.

“In the Kamchatka Territory, water levels from the category of adverse hydrological phenomena will remain on the Avasha River near the city of Yelizovo and on the Kamchatka River in the area of ​​\u200b\u200bthe Kozyrevsk and Klyuchi settlements,” VNII GOChS summarizes.
