Colorado benefits from Nichushkin’s goal to even up series with Seattle

Moscow, April 21 – The Colorado Avalanche hockey players defeated the Seattle Kraken in Game 2 of the National Hockey League’s (NHL) Western Conference playoff series.

The meeting in Denver ended with a strong-willed victory of the hosts with a score of 3: 2 (0: 2, 2: 0, 1: 0). Arturi Likonen (27th minute), Valery Nichoshkin (28th minute) and Devon Teves (53rd minute) scored for Colorado. For Seattle, Justin Schultz (3) and Brandon Tanev (14) scored the goals.

Russian goalkeeper Alexander Georgiev saved 27 out of 29 shots.

The score in the series became even four equal victories – 1-1. The third match of the confrontation will be held in Seattle on the night of April 22-23 Moscow time.

In another match of the first round of the Western Ice Hockey Playoffs, the Vegas Golden Knights beat the Winnipeg Jets at home with a score of 5: 2 (0: 1, 2: 1, 3: 0). The score in the series became equal – 1-1.
