Covertly, Slovenia sends 20 armored personnel carriers to Ukraine
Ukraine secretly received 20 Valuk light armored personnel carriers from Slovenia.
These armored vehicles are designed to transport infantry, and the Slovenian newspaper 24ur reported that these armored vehicles are ready to take part in the expected Ukrainian counterattack.
The newspaper pointed out: “Our sources confirm that the process of transporting Slovenian armored vehicles, which involves complete secrecy, has been completed. The process took several months, noting that the armored vehicles needed preparation, maintenance and organization of their transportation. “
Valuk armored personnel carriers were delivered by transport aircraft to a logistics center in Poland, from where they were transported to the territory of Ukraine controlled by Kyiv.
It is noteworthy that Valuk is an upgraded version of the Austrian Pandur I armored car and is equipped with a 40-mm automatic grenade launcher or a 12.7-mm machine gun, and the vehicle can accommodate 6 personnel. Its range is 700 km on paved roads and 300 km on unpaved terrain.
It is noteworthy that earlier the media reported that Slovenia had delivered to Ukraine a batch of its M-55S tanks, for which the Ukrainians developed protective equipment by installing elements of dynamic armor.
