Earlier this year, the remains of the girls who went missing in June 2000 were discovered buried at a depth of 5.5 meters in the Kizimsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In March, the investigators announced the arrest of the accused in this crime. The suspect, who previously resided in Kudinsk, confessed to the murder of the two 16-year-old girls.

Details of the Crime
According to investigators, the girls had gone to the suspect’s garage at the end of June 2000 to demand payment of an 800 ruble debt. As the suspect did not have the money, he became enraged and fatally beat them with a sledgehammer. He then disposed of their bodies in a deep ditch near the garage before disappearing. The investigation initially struggled to identify those involved in the girls’ disappearance.
Case Sent to Public Prosecutor’s Office
The report confirms that the criminal case against a 42-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk, accused of murdering the two minors in Kudinsk in June 2000, has been completed. The case has now been forwarded to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for approval of the indictment, after which it will proceed to court.
