Cristiano Ronaldo Reflects on Disappointing El Clasico Defeat in Saudi Arabia

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, player of the Al-Nasr club, commented on his team’s loss in El Clasico against Ittihad Jeddah in the Saudi Football League Roshen.

The Jeddah Federation took the lead with a hard-fought and valuable victory over their rivals, Al-Nasr 1-0 on Thursday at the top of stage 20 at King Abdullah Sports City’s Radiant Jewel Stadium.

And the Portuguese failed to save his team from a heavy defeat from a rival ranked first in the standings of the local league.

Ronaldo posted a message on his Twitter account after the match, announcing his disappointment and frustration at El Clasico’s loss to Al Ittihad.

Ronaldo said in his message: “We are disappointed with the result, but we remain focused on our season and upcoming matches.”

The Portuguese star added: “Thank you Al Nasr fans for your support. We know we can always count on you.”

This is Al-Nasr’s first defeat in the Saudi league since his contract with Portuguese star Ronaldo earlier this year.

However, this is the second match in a row where Ronaldo fails to score in the winning jersey after failing to visit the subnet during the last match which ended in a 3-1 victory for Al Alami.
