Debut UFC Fight: Russian Fighter Scores a Stunning Knockout

Moscow, May 7th – RIA News. Russian MMA fighter Ikram Aliskerov defeated American Philip Howes ahead of schedule in his first match under the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) sponsorship.

The middleweight fight took place as part of the UFC 288 prelims in Newark (USA) and ended with a knockout in the first round.

Note that in the main event of the champion of the evening promotion in the bantamweight division, American Aljamain Sterling will share the cage with his compatriot, winner of the 2008 Olympics and former UFC belt holder in two weight categories, Henry Cejudo.
