Describing US Sanctions in India as an Intimidation Tactic

Moscow, June 8 – Americans use sanctions as a tool of intimidation, but they cannot stop business development, they will always find ways to get around restrictions, Sami Kotwani, head of the non-profit Indian Business Alliance, told the News Agency.

“Sanctions to me are a ‘joke’. The way Americans want to scare people. There are no sanctions for business, there are always other options and ways. When one door closes, another opens. But the business cannot be closed with sanctions,” Kotwani said, answering a question about how the pressure of US sanctions will affect trade relations between Moscow and New Delhi.
