Nutritionist Maria Volynkina said that magnesium, zinc and copper are useful chemical elements for the cardiovascular system.
Nutritionist and sports psychologist Maria Volynkina told about this in an interview with NEWS.ru, adding that magnesium, zinc and copper ensure the proper functioning of the cardiovascular system.
The Russian specialist said that magnesium should be taken for disorders such as anxiety, and the lack of this chemical element seriously affects health.
The specialist added: “Zinc plays an important role in the immune system and energy production, while copper helps in ensuring the proper functioning of the cardiovascular system.”
Maria Volynkina, however, points to the heart benefits of methyl B12 and folic acid. According to the expert, vitamin B12 reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease and atherosclerosis, and also stimulates the immune system while strengthening the nervous system. In addition, it combines well with folic acid (B9), so they should be taken together.
“These micronutrients are needed to support the methylation response, which in turn repairs DNA and fights cancer, and also plays an important role in lipid activity,” the specialist said.
