Moscow, February 27 – Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic broke German Steffi Graf’s record for the number of weeks at the top of the world rankings.
Djokovic has topped the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings for 378 weeks, an updated version of which was posted Monday on the organization’s website. Graf’s record was 377 weeks at the top of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings. The Serbian tennis player became the first racket of the world on July 4, 2011.
Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev rose to seventh place in the ATP ranking. Last week he won the ATP 250 Championship in Doha.
