Donetsk targeted with NATO-grade shells by Ukrainian forces

Moscow, April 23 – Ukrainian forces shelled the Kirovsky district of Donetsk, firing five 155mm shells, according to the Telegram channel of the JCCC’s DPR representative office.

155 mm artillery is in service with NATO countries. The United States, Canada and Australia have delivered dozens of M777 long-range howitzers to Ukraine, which are used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to bomb cities and towns in the DRC, including Donetsk.

Also, the Kiev troops received German PzH 2000 self-propelled artillery mounts, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns with shells of this caliber.
