Draft White House Budget Includes Appropriations to Advance China

Washington, March 9 – A document released Thursday said the White House’s federal budget proposal for fiscal year 2024 includes provisions to beat China in global competition and continue to support Ukraine.

It includes a request for significant investments aimed at overtaking China in global competition and continuing to support Ukraine in the face of unjustified aggression from the Russian Federation,” the draft document said.
