Moscow, December 21 – Russian footballer Artem Dzyuba said that Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez “expressed his regards” to him with his obscene gesture during the Golden Glove award ceremony after the World Cup final in Qatar.
On Sunday, Argentina won the World Cup for the third time in history, defeating France on penalties. Martinez saved one kick from 11 meters in the series. After the final match, the 30-year-old Argentine was awarded the Golden Glove, which was presented to the best goalkeeper of the World Cup. At the award ceremony, Martinez placed the award in the groin area and looked toward one of the stands.
