Eckhoff Retires From Professional Career

Moscow, March 15 – Norwegian Terrell Eckhoff, two-time Olympic biathlon champion, has announced her retirement from the sport.
Eckhoff last competed in a World Cup final in March 2022, when she won two races at Norway’s Holmenkollen.
“It’s a little sad that I’m leaving, but at the same time I know that it was the right decision. I am proud of what I have achieved and I will remember my years in biathlon with a smile,” added the athlete.

Eckhoff won Olympic gold in the mixed relay at the 2014 Sochi and Beijing 2022 Olympics. She also has three silver and three bronze medals. In addition, Eckhoff is a 10-time world champion in biathlon.
