The Ministry of Health and Population has stressed the importance of drinking plenty of water and fresh juices while avoiding tea and coffee to avoid feeling dehydrated and exhausted during fasting hours.

The Ministry of Health and Population emphasized “the importance of avoiding fried foods, sweets, pickles and nuts during suhoor because they cause thirst and dehydration during fasting”, noting the importance of delaying suhoor until just before dawn.
