
Egyptian and Tunisian in perfect African team for 2022 amid Moroccan dominance

The website of the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has presented the ideal team for the African continent for 2022.
Morocco’s internationals have dominated the brown continent’s ideal 5-man squad after the Atlas Lions’ historic achievement in the Qatar 2022 World Cup final, reaching the World Cup golden square.
5 players from the national team made up the perfect squad, namely Yassin Bounu, Ashraf Hakimi, Roman Sayes, Sofiane Amrabat and Ezzedine Onahi, as well as Egyptian star Mohamed Salah and Tunisian defender Ali Maaloul.
The ideal lineup for the African continent looked like this:
