British newspaper The Sun has reported that England’s struggling club Chelsea are interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain striker Neymar Jr.’s Brazilian star.

The newspaper also noted that the London club’s interest in the Brazilian star is not a recent birth, but rather remains a long-standing desire of Chelsea management.

And the newspaper pointed out that Todd Boyle, owner of Chelsea FC, had already met with those close to Neymar last January to inquire about the possibility of joining him.

Press reports also spoke of the Blues’ desire to sign Neymar last summer 2022 and ahead of the start of the current season’s competition.

Unlike Chelsea, the French chain Foot Mercato recently reported that Neymar was also on the accounts of Manchester United officials.

The 31-year-old Neymar’s contract with the Parisian club expires in the summer of 2025 with a clause that will be automatically extended until the summer of 2027.

It is said that the Parisian administration wants to get rid of Neymar due to his fluctuating level due to numerous injuries, in addition to keeping his huge salary.
