The specialist recommends observing the correct proportions of proteins, fats and carbohydrates in the daily diet (30:20:50 percent, respectively). You should also eat fruits and vegetables up to 400 grams per day. You should exercise for at least 30 minutes a day and walk about 10,000 steps a day.

And she says: “Patients who are overweight, especially those who are obese in the abdomen, need to control their glucose levels – after all, diabetes is the main cause of stroke.
