Expanding Nuclear Deterrence Cooperation with NATO on Warsaw’s Agenda

Berlin, April 2 – The head of Poland’s National Security Office, Jacek Severa, told the dpa news agency that Warsaw is ready for closer cooperation within the framework of NATO’s measures on nuclear deterrence.
“It is possible that Poland will be ready to expand its participation and cooperation within the framework of nuclear deterrence by NATO forces and take responsibility,” he said.
Severa explained that this does not include the deployment of nuclear weapons on Polish soil.
